Interested In Joining Troop 68?
New Members are always welcome in Troop 68. Membership is open to boys who have completed fifth grade or are 11 years old. If you are interested in an outdoor program that is lots of fun, please contact us via e-mail or call our Scoutmaster, Mr. Abrahamson at 459-0482 x14 or e-mail at scoutmaster@troop68bsa.org. We'll invite you to a meeting or two so you and your parents can see what our program is all about. You do not have to live in Trumbull or belong to St. Theresa Church to join the troop. Troop 68 meets on Friday evenings at 7:30 PM.

10th Anniversary Camp Sikorsky - September 24-26, 2010
Each year, Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford hosts a weekend camp where nearly 500 selected older Boy Scouts from throughout the Northeast have the opportunity to learn about aviation, tour the factory, attend workshops and earn any of 13 merit badges. Merit badge classes, tours and activities are conducted by Sikorsky Aircraft staff and military personnel stationed at the plant.  Typically, each scout that attends will earn two (2) merit badges. Classes offered this year are:

 

American Business

Crime Prevention

Engineering

Aviation

Drafting

Fire Safety

Chemistry

Electricity

Space Exploration

Computers

Energy

 


Registrations must be made through the Troop.  Scouts must be at least 14 years of age (DOB on or before 9/24/96) and be at First Class rank.  Contact Mr. Pecora (webmaster@troop68bsa.org) if you plan to attend.  Do not mail the form into the scout council.

New BSA Annual Health and Medical Record Form
The newly revised BSA Medical Form is now on-line. All three (3) sections are required for Troop 68 scouts and adults - and a new form must be completed annually. The parent portion of the form can be completed online and then printed to take to the physicians office.
