Interested in Joining Troop 68?
New Members are always welcome in Troop 68. Membership is open to boys who are at least 11 years old.  If you are interested in an outdoor program that is lots of fun, please contact us via e-mail or call our Scoutmaster, Mr. Abrahamson @ 459-0482 x14 or e-mail scoutmaster@troop68bsa.org. We'll invite you to a meeting or two so you and your parents can see what our program is all about. You do not have to live in Trumbull or belong to St. Theresa Church to join the troop.  Troop 68 meets on Friday evenings at 7:30 PM.

Summer Camp 2008 is August 3-10, 2008

Each year our troop spends a week at summer camp in Rhode Island at the Yawgoog Scout Reservation.    We stay at Camp Sandy Beach - one of three separate camps at Yawgoog.  In 2007, Twenty-Four (24) members joined over 1000 scouts from throughout the Northeast at Yawgoog.  Scouts earned over 80 merit badges and awards!  A number of scouts advanced in rank and one of our members was one of only 16 scouts to earn the BSA Mile Swim award during week #6.  It was a great week at camp!

Camp Sikorsky - September 26-28, 2008
Each year, Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford hosts a weekend camp where nearly 400
selected older Boy Scouts from throughout the Northeast have the opportunity to
learn about aviation, tour the factory, attend workshops and earn any of 13 merit badges. 
Merit badge classes, tours and activities are conducted by Sikorsky Aircraft
staff and military personnel stationed at the plant.  Troop 68 members who
attended in 2007 earned ten (10) merit badges!

The calendar is color-coded and when an event is underlined,
clicking on it will provide more information.  Remember to check the
calendar frequently as dates and times can change unexpectedly.
