Troop 68 Parent’s Meeting
April 7, 2003

The following people were in attendance: Kathleen Abrahamson, Michael Abrahamson, Andy Spalla, Bill Amidon, John O'Neill, Steve Lemoine, Frank Chudy

Andy Spalla called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. followed by the pledge of Allegiance.

New Business:
    The boys of the Troop want to do a car wash and the profits placed in their Scout Accounts. The scheduled date is May 24th with a rain date of May 31st.
    Monsignor Di Profio's retirement is June 22nd motion was made and passed to buy a gift for Monsignor.
    Motion was made and passed to allocate$25.00 for a gift card to Malta House. Malta House mission is a lay religious order, which seeks to glorify God by promoting the spiritual well -being of each lay member through his/her work with the sick and the poor and his/her witness of faith. The Malta House in Connecticut relies on charitable donations and foundation grants. Their program goals help prepare Single Mothers live self-sufficient lives and to support their children and install greater self-esteem and confidence.

Other Business:
    The Troop has received a gift of knives. The Committee has approved the distribution of the knives to the boys in the Troop at the discretion of the Scoutmaster
