Troop 68 Parents Meeting
March 12, 2000
St. Theresa School

The following people were in attendance: Kathleen Abrahamson, Jill Golrick, Bill Amidon, Michael Abrahamson, Frank Chudy, Andy Spalla, Rich Alesevich, John O'Neil.

The meeting was called to order by Andy Spalla at 7:40PM, followed by the pledge of Allegiance.

Secretary’s Report

    The minutes of the last meeting were accepted.
    The question was raised on last month's minutes regarding the cash balance of $100, the treasurer indicated he would have clarification at the next parents meeting.
    Copies of the Troop Calendar were available.

Scoutmaster’s Report

    A printed report was distributed

Committee Chair’s Report

    March camp out was at Indian Ledge
    April 6-8 camp out at Deer Lake

    4/13 – No Troop Meeting (Good Friday)
    4/20 – No Troop Meeting (Schools Closed)

Old Business

    The deadline for the May 25th trip to Seabase was last week however we are on the waiting list for both June 15th and June 22nd

New Business

    Motion was made on Mark Carpenter's behalf for the purchase of a dining canopy, which would cost around $40 at Sports Authority. It was suggested that we address this matter at the next parents meeting when Mark Carpenter would be present.
     The Scoutmaster made a motion for a $100 donation to the Friends of Scouting in remembrance of Stew Stern, motion was carried.
